Today was an uneventful day, which we needed after yesterday! By the way, did we mention that last night, in the quiet seclusion of Trellis Bay we were treated to a magnificent double rainbow?
This morning we had to say goodbye to my parents, Do & Papa. They headed home after sailing with us for the past 8 days. It will be an adjustment not having Dad's assistance crewing the boat, Mom's help preparing meals, etc. and simply having them around. It was a special treat to spend such quality time with them.
Back to just the four of us on our journey, we laid low all day in Trellis Bay, both to avoid the swell, but also because we were ready for a quiet day. The girls spent most of the day on school work, we tidied up the boat, I did some yoga, and Matt worked out while I took photos of the girls monkeying around on the boat.
We also had some quiet moments, and took a dingy ride to shore just to walk along the beach.
We found our Pura Vida again. :)
